Beyond 1 – pod for one, and so much more…

Beyond 1 is designed, manufactured, build for your privacy, reduce distractions, offers a comfort zone, and give you space to do your best. It is very quiet (class A product), with convenient table for laptop, notebook or phone on top of it. Also comes ready for on-line collaboration, video conferencing with vanity light to give you nice, fresh look on camera. You can manage lights, air flow on very intuitive 7” touch screen, it is simple to operate, very inclusive. The Signature™ door handle let’s you naturally and comfortably open/close door even if your hands are busy carrying a notebook or a mug. For sure you will avoid complex motions, so typical for doorknobs (vertical or horizontal ones), instead just reach out at most natural angle for raising hand and grabbing the handle with one hand or both (c.a. 20-22 degrees). Feels really good.

Sustainability – 99% of pod is recyclable

Design Thinking, ESG, Inclusivity are our core values, corner stone of Beyond design & manufacturing code. From the very start of the project, the customers indicated that they look for pods to be made of metal, glass (for durability and fire resistant's) and polyethylene fabrics (easily recyclable) in the way all those can be easily purchased, manufactured with low energy consumption, and as much as possible reused after product lifetime (c.a. 10 years). In response to their needs, pods are partially made of aluminium, because the temperature needed to cast it (c.a. 600 oC) is lower then steel (1400 oC). Wherever needed pods promote steel over wood as a construction element, because of its longevity and durability. Also once casted, alloys can be repurposed and recycled, instead of harvesting forests, the lungs of our planet. Upholstery is made of plastic wastes from oceans in cooperation with our textile’s vendors. Very nice of them to cleanse oceans, it sounds really good.
